One of the oldest rug weaving centers, Tabriz, which is the capital city of East Azarbaijan Province in North West Persia (Iran). Tabriz rugs are an extremely diverse style with a heavy & solid weight. Tabriz rugs are woven with the traditional Persian and Turkish knots with an average of 120-850 KPSI. They are made with a firm wool pile, on a cotton warp and the traditional style is with a medallion featuring garden or floral motifs.

This rug has been professionally cleaned.

Cleaning: Vacuum on the lowest setting possible (preferably with beater bar off) or use a broom to sweep away debris. Spot clean with mild detergent and water only, avoid rubbing and any use of a carpet cleaning machine.
