The Mustafi style Mahal is a rarer style of the Mahal rug. With a striking large scale pattern that’s compromised of floral motifs in a roundel contour, spiral formations and scrolling vines, this style of Mahal is highly coveted. All Mahal rugs were woven in the region of Mahallat, a location very rich within the weaving industry. Mahals, in any style are known for their distinctive art form. There’s also the Ziegler Mahal style and Ivory Mahal styles. Mahals are among designers favorites for their versatility, aesthetic appeal and durability.
